note...

Just want to say that I'm still here, which is good because some people aren't. I'll talk about last week asap but am currently too busy to take the time.

Meanwhile, my printer is haunted... :0

tomorrow's preview

I got back from the week of camp I mentioned. It was a very odd and dramatic week, and it is now to late to describe it in detail, however tomorrow at the earliest, I should be able to let out the news...please stick around for it...

Also, please leave comments about the new Pirates o' the Carribbean film, I NEED to see that asap and would like to see some honest reviews. Have a good evening (or morning, wherever you are). :)

7/9/91

Tomorrow=July 9th which equals my 15th birthday. Does that mean I will be getting my driver's permit anytime soon? OF COURSE NOT! Nevertheless, tomorrow is also the day new episodes of Mind of Mencia debut (finally), and I must leave for a week long scout camp. And no, before you even ask, that is not a good thing. What's worse is now I've had my hair cut (by force) because of this "camp" which starts tomorrow, and the way my bangs have been cut makes me look like I'm ten years younger...that would be 5. Nevertheless...

I hope everybody is enjoying their weekend, if you aren't, get a life. Also, I am formally requesting that everyone who reads this blog make a comment to let me know you were here. Even if you have nothing to say, just make a comment about how...stupid you feel about leaving the comment. That's what I always do to people anyways.

Do yourself a favor, make cookie dough.

(Next post-follow up on Green Day, and reviews of books I was forced to read.)

What happened to Green Day?

There are two types of Green Day fans. Type one is old Green Day, back when they were starting in the early nineties in an attempt to mae themselves punk rock legends. Then there are the new Green Day fans, which can be anyone who's heard their last album. Both Non-Green Day fans and fans of old Green Day, in my expierience, are accusing the new, semi-mature Green Day of being sell outs. The question to be answered is, has the band really become a sell out group, and if so, should it be bothering anyone? I'll come back to that later...

Anyhow, Italy and France will be the finalists for the world cup, which of course means absolutely nothing to anyone else living in Nebraska outside of the soccer playing loop. (No, I am not a good soccer player.) Now, I really expected Germany to be facing France in the final (it was obvious France would beat Portugal), but hadn't really thought much about Italy. Oh well, it's the first time I've followeed world cup, so what would I know. Perhaps I'm subconsciously racist :) (yeah right)

Well, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer months (save those of you who take winter vacations only) and you shall hear from me soon.

At last I realize that I need to start posting actual information...

ok, so on July 9th (my birthday), new episodes of Mind of Mencia come out, which feels like comedy central is giving me a present, yet at eight in the morning on that day I have to leave to spend a week in St. Joseph Missouri...funny how those things work out...but there will be reruns.

Now, down here in Omaha fireworks are illegal, yet people use them anyways. The police do nothing. That's great, they shouldn't do anything, if you get a firework injury, odds are it was your own stupid fault anyways, but what really irritates me is that people on the news are complaining about finding the streets littered with empty shells...how bad are a couple off empty shells and sparkler butts, huh? I mean come on, don't let the kids touch matches is one thing, but go to jail for lighting up a noismaker the size of your thumb, give me a break Omaha!

nothing

i tend to find that there is absolutely nothing to comment on unless half of the world is on fire, so let me know if that happens, because it's totally possible. My website = www.maxpages.com/thebasement
