GTA4 Withdrawal

After spending only a good two hours in my friend's new basement playing the fourth installment of the Grand Theft Auto game series, I am allready expieriencing...uh...how shall I put this...WANTING TO PLAY IT AGAIN!!!!!

For a great game that allows you to do some crazy illegal s*** over and over again I would say that this is pretty sweet. But don't be afraid to play it with cheat codes. The helicopter and RPG are pretty cool.

Watch out for cops.

Harry Potter 7

After waiting for about 2 hours to get the book, I have learned this:

Harry is decapitated by Ron who is the robotic servant of Lord Voldemort.

Hermione turns out to be a dude named Jake that becomes pope and sends voldemort and snape to azkaban.

Meanwhile, R.L. Stine seizes this as an opportunity to once again corner the market of children's books and begins by letting loose 50000000000 mutant house-elves lookse upon the world.

Can Optimus Prime and the other Autobots save the world in time, or will the Silver Surfer reign over middle earth?

iPhone = NO

I tried the iPhone for the first time today at my local Apple store with an expectation that was allready low. Despite the fact that the iPod revolutionized music, it was clear that the iPhone had not remotely revolutionized communication. If anything it made a joke out of it.

I would have been satisfied to see an iPod combined with a phone, but instead what I got was a slab of metal with youtube, shoddy maps, and basically a hard to use version of a palm pilot.

"But Willis, it's all touch activated!" So was the palm pilot jackass, I hope the buttons didn't give you blisters. All in all I would have to give the iPhone a zero out of five and label it as a fad for the rich and famous.

Palm pilots and iPods meanwhile are still off the chart impressive. I suggest the 4gb nano myself. Over and out.

First Double Award Weekend

This is basically a note to self : At the Marion speech contest I got sixth in impromptu on the tenth, and got third in congress at lincoln east the next day. First double-medal weekend! Plus, I beat the allmighty Sauma in congress! The only thing that sucks at this point is not being able to go to districts, but I know I would have bombed there with the Ent. and OID anyhow.

Nevertheless, I hope all you out there have a great Valentines Day, wheras I will be among the celebrators of S.A.D. (Singles Awareness Day) (or, singles appreciation day) If you want a good illustration of SAD day, just listen to "Love Song" by Korn.
